Welsh Chapels
« on: 30 September 2016, 15:41:51 »
Addoldai Cymru (The Welsh Religious Buildings Trust) is a charity set up "to take into ownership a selection of chapels  that are historically and/or architecturally significant to the story of chapel building and Nonconformity in Wales, and that are valuable to their local communities".

The Welsh Chapels website has a map showing all the chapels, with pop-up information as you hover over each one. You can choose the base map from modern (OS OpenData) and historic (eg from NLS, or RCAHMW) maps. You can also search for a chapel, or analyse them with colour-coding.

mapping4ops.org is a Society for One-Place Studies project supported by Grassroots Giving from Skipton Building Society
