« on: 20 March 2016, 08:00:41 »
OpenAerialMap (OAM) is "an open service to provide access to a commons of openly licensed imagery and map layer services.  It is a collection of openly licensed satellite and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery, built on top of the Open Imagery Network (OIN).

More details are given here, together with documentation. OpenAerialMap is particularly aimed to provide access to imagery for humanitarian response and disaster preparedness.
